About Me

I'm an artist, occasional writer, programmer, and Jew by choice. I like nature, language, music, law, and history, among other things. I am queer, transfeminine, a socialist with anarchist tendencies, and take great inspiration from those who have struggled and continue to struggle against all systems of oppression.

I am a settler of predominately English and German heritage, born and raised near the fork of the Monongahela and Ohio rivers, on Seneca land occupied by the United States. In addition to other peoples of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, land near this confluence was also inhabited by the Osage, Shawnee, and Lenape peoples in the 17th and 18th century, largely due to displacement caused by European settlers. As a white person with ancestors who have been on the continent for about 350 years, it is essential for me to bear in mind that the land and resources of these natives were very literally stolen in my name, and I think it is only just to fight against those systems of exploitation and return that land and those resources to their original inhabitants.
